RBM Plastic Extrusions was established in 1964 to provide extruded flexible PVC profiles and tubes to a wide range of industries. Since then the company has expanded its operations to include welding, cutting and post forming extrusions as well as manufacturing a wide range of flexible PVC Compounds.

In 1985, director of RBM Plastic Extrusions, Mr. Peter McWilliam Senior acquired the operations of Paramount Plastics (Aust.) in Victoria, which has resulted in it becoming one of the largest custom profile extrusion companies in Australia.

Paramount Plastics (Aust) has served the industry for twenty-five years.

The group between them now employs in excess of one hundred people.

The manufacturing facility of Paramount Plastics is located in Campbellfield, Melbourne while RBM Plastic Extrusions is located in Silverwater, Sydney.

During this period of time Paramount Plastics (Aust.) has established the following corporate goals:
